A parcel can make it to the right address and still not be in the right place.

I see this challenge constantly in larger residential developments.

The street address gets the driver to the property.

But what happens after that?

I visited this development recently.

It has 42 separate lobbies, plus individual entrances to standalone dwellings, all reached from the same street address.

Look at the map.

Getting there is the easy part.

The actual delivery point could still be another building, another entrance, another lobby or another part of the development entirely.

That’s one of the reasons I keep coming back to The Last Inch.

We tend to think about delivery in kilometres.

Distribution centres. Routes. Suburbs. Streets.

But sometimes the most complicated part of the journey starts after you’ve already arrived at the correct address.

The address gets the parcel to the property. The Last Inch gets it to the right place.

And sometimes that last inch is a surprisingly long way.
